I'm a big fans of RPG games, i've followed the RPG game from xenogears until the playstation new generations, that's why i know a lot of classic RPG games. Well, here are the best classic RPG games from my list, keep reading...

A. Chrono Trigger

Released in 1995 for SNES, this game has been praised for its story and game play. This game is designed by "the dream team", hironobu Sakaguchi from FF series, akira toriyama who is well know as the creator of dragon ball z and Yuji Horii from dragon quest.

Nintendo Power magazine praised chrono trigger for its multiples endings, detailed graphics and unique battle systems.

B. Chrono Cross

It's the sequel of chrono cross. The game follows the story of serge who has to travel the parallel worlds to find the truth of the two worlds' divergence.

Believe it or not, but chrono cross is the one and only rpg games that got rating 10 on gamespot.

C. Final Fantasy VIII

The game follows the story of a group (Squall and friend) to stop the word from conflict. It was a popular game with earning more than US$50 million in sales.

Just like the previous series, you can summon powerful creatures called the guardian force. And don't forget about the limit breaks, the lower of your current health, the stronger damage you can inflight to enemies.

D. Breath of fire IV

E. Tales of Eternia

Welcome to the world of tales of eternia. This game offers a colorful world and epic story. The unique and side scrolling battle mode is the value of the game.

F. Atelier Iris

Another unique Japanese RPG game. What makes this game different is, you can collect items and create them into new items in alchemist mode. If you are looking for fun Japanese style RPG game then it's the right game for you.
